NOETIC ART THERAPY, LLC.

Justin Wassel, MA, ATR

Life affords us the opportunity to realize our potential as individuals in and of the collective. This can be experienced as a creative process of ongoing learning and mastery.

Art Therapy can facilitate the emergence of the conscious, creative, positive and transformational insights that foster moment-to-moment experiences of greater love, joy, balance, flow, and equanimity for this lifetime and all relations.

Noetic Art Therapy, LLC. Currently Operates as a Fee-For-Service Provider.

How much does art therapy cost?

We offer a free 15 minute consultation.

Individual art therapy sessions are available starting at a rate of $100 per 45-minute session.

Most clients prefer 90 minute art therapy sessions to maximize their time and process with art media. A 90 minute art therapy session is $150.

There is a one-time initial 2 hour intake and evaluation session, which constitutes a $200 fee.

How many sessions can I expect to attend in order to benefit from art therapy?

A standard course of Art Therapy treatment typically runs for 10 consecutive weeks. The length of your treatment will be individually determined between you and your therapist, and your physician (where applicable). The anticipated course of treatment for the individual as well as the financial cost (for self-pay clients) would be determined upon initial assessment.

If you are “self-paying” for services, according to the “No Surprises Act” signed into law in December 2020, beginning January 1, 2022, health care providers, including art therapist, are required by law to provide uninsured and self-pay clients a Good Faith Estimate of costs for services when they schedule care or when requested.

You will be provided with the good faith estimate so you will be well-informed of your particular cost for art therapy services. This would be provided in connection with the scheduling of a service, and also upon request.

For clients receiving long-term or ongoing services, a Good Faith Estimate should be completed every 12 months, to cover the next 12 months of planned or potential services.

See additional information below…

How can I benefit from art therapy?

Art therapy requires a personal commitment to the process and tends to yield higher more effective outcomes when a client is making an investment in their own (or a loved one's) well-being. Ultimately, the investment is in oneself and to develop one's ability to acknowledge aspects of one's own being, the ability to generate personal insights and interpersonal awareness, and to be amenable to change. Some individuals continue therapy for their own wellness in developing greater conscious integration of the vastness of their being.

How do I pay?

We accept checks or secure payment through Paypal. We offer a 5% discount off our standard rates when the client pre-pays for a block of therapy sessions. Contact us to arrange the schedule that will work best for you.

If I am paying for therapy services out of pocket:

Your therapist will provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE), which is a “document predicting estimated costs for services that art therapists accepting private payment must provide to prospective clients when scheduling their first session. A Good Faith Estimate cannot cover a period greater than 12 months, and would need to be generated annually for ongoing clients. The GFE would be provided in connection with the scheduling of a service and also upon request.” (https://arttherapy.org/blog-no-surprises-act/)

Managed Care:

Each managed care plan has its own criteria for member eligibility toward art therapy referrals and authorization. If you or a loved one has coverage through one of these companies, you will need to begin a dialogue toward your benefit and by requesting art therapy with your Case Manager and/or your Physician/Psychiatrist. Noetic Art Therapy, LLC. (NAT, LLC.) is unable to begin providing services through such plans if (1.) we are not providers through a particular plan, and (2.) if your referral has not come through said managed care plan directly to NAT, LLC.

VALUE ADDED SERVICES

The additional focus and incorporation of artistic media, necessitates one to consider how more resources, insight, training, skill, and energy are incorporated into an art therapy session as compared to a predominantly casual talk-counseling-therapy session. Noetic Art Therapy, LLC. offers art therapy services as standard practice and at competitive rates that run either less than or equal to what traditional counselors charge.

Noetic Field Balancing is a modality that stands on its own and is neither art therapy nor counseling.
