Managed Care to Cover Art Therapy in Central Florida Beginning August 2014

Noetic Art Therapy & Counseling, LLC. will be a provider for WellCare-Staywell through MTM beginning August 2014! This is great news...

Here, I offer some guidance as to how a referral works – the Staywell Case Manager will obtain a physician order for Art Therapy for their member.  The Staywell Case Manager will then contact the MTM representative and will set up the referral with the appropriate therapist based on location, etc.

If Noetic Art Therapy & Counseling, LLC. happens to have a Staywell member make direct contact, Noetic Art Therapy & Counseling, LLC. will advise them to call the customer service number located on their insurance card.  If the member does not go through Staywell and MTM, Noetic Art Therapy & Counseling, LLC. may not be eligible for reimbursement for the service.

We look forward to assisting you by offering our services through WellCare-Staywell in relationship with MTM!

Additional managed care companies also cover Art Therapy and you may be able to initially pay out of pocket and submit a "superbill" to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Contact your insurance company to find out if Art Therapy or Mental Health Counseling benefits are included in your plan.

Summer 2014 Groups for Educators: Faculty & Staff

We are pleased to announce we are collaborating with Janice Boes, MA, LMHC of Integrative Counseling and Wellness to especially offer our art therapy and counseling services to education faculty and staff as well as their families!

Our mission is to assist students, families, professional educators and all members of the community to live healthier lives with direction and confidence.

We provide psycho-education and therapeutic services for individuals to help them realize their greatest potential.

Students and families in our community often lack the skills and personal mastery necessary to face life’s challenges. Problems such as bullying, depression, suicidal ideation, cutting, ADHD, and anger are experienced in the school setting. This may manifest as academic and/or behavioral problems. Family issues can negatively impact academic performance, which can dramatically limit future opportunities.

As former employees of community agencies working closely with schools, we have witnessed the positive impact counseling services can have for those affected by life’s challenges. Adolescents and families can overcome those challenges that are keeping them from achieving the success they are capable of.

Many community agencies are excellent resources for assisting families in need. However, they may only be available to those eligible through Medicaid or government-subsidized programs. We provide quality counseling and therapy services where the client’s needs are our priority. To meet this standard, we are fee-for-service practitioners who provide a neutral environment outside of the academic and agency settings. Labels and stigmas do not exist.

We enjoy working with people in the community who are seeking wellness, counseling, and therapy. We are excited to begin working with members of your faculty, your students, and their families.

Summer Workshops and Groups!

We recognize how faculty and staff within the school system experience work-related and personal stress.

We offer group therapy and individual counseling for professionals.

We are pleased to announce our summer programs will begin in June. Topics addressed may include self-care and stress reduction strategies, team building, communication with students, and transcendent consciousness.
